The online instructions show how to open and lock the shaft (must be done aggressively and correctly), how to get the half loft adjustments, how to “speed shift”, EXACTLY how to hold the club to collapse it without pinching fingers or damaging the shaft, and much more, WITH VIDEOS.
Play a virtual game – We recommend that customers play a “virtual” game sitting at home before they go out on the course, especially if the first on-course usage is on a trip. For instance, set the loft to a 4-iron and imagine driving the ball off the first tee. (Read why a 4-iron loft is better for driving than the “D” on www.divnickgolf.com/adjustable/disadvantages.php). Then set it to a 7 for the next shot. Then to the putter loft. Then back to a 4 for the next tee shot, then to a 5 1/2, then to a sand wedge, then to a putter, and do that cycle for several virtual holes to get used to the shifting and locking on different loft settings.
Lever Alignment– After a couple dozen loft changes and tightening of the nut, the black lever will need to be realigned as the parts wear-in (www.divnickgolf.com/adjustable/instructions.php#lever). It is a very tight fit, and there is a trick to getting it on the nut. BE SURE TO REVIEW THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU GO OUT ON THE COURSE WITH IT.
